At the movies

We all go to the movies and have favorite genres; be it a Christmas romance, a historical movie or a thriller. The genre can often be determined by the lighting and color mood from a single still image. The series ‚At the Movies‘ plays with the visual worlds of the different film genres. Each image embodies a different film category. What they all have in common is their ‚protagonist‘, the lonely street lantern. The series was created in the fall of 2023 during walks through the Californian nights.
